JULIE ROOTES INTERIORS

Sandra Jordan’s Aubergine Prima Alpaca tented the ceiling and draped the walls of Julie Rootes’ dining room. The Mongiardino-esque ambiance continued with Paul Ferrante’s jewelry-like hanging light fixture. Its alabaster bowl casts an evocative glow on diners seated at an organically shaped table surrounded by John Lyle’s solid bronze dining chairs. A mid-18th-century French Baroque giltwood mirror from Garden Court Antiques adds dimension. Guests adjourn to the Moroccan-style divan upholstered in Pierre Frey and Casamance fabrics and embellished with Houles trim.
